Behind the name
My name, Sylwia, comes from the Latin silva, meaning forest or woodland. It felt like a natural place to begin. I believe one of our deepest human needs is connection: to other people, to ourselves, and to the world around us. Yet modern life so often pulls us in the opposite direction, making it harder to slow down, to feel anchored.
Trees have long been symbols of life, continuity, quiet strength, and rootedness. Held in place by everything that lies beneath the surface. Forests feel that way to me: still, enduring, full of a presence that is both grounding and mysterious. Places that have witnessed generations of change, and remained.
Pine trees hold something especially personal. Growing up, they were simply part of my landscape, a steady, quiet presence. But something in their stillness and scent has stayed with me, something deeply calming and familiar.
At Pine Path, I want to offer you something of that same quality. A place to slow down, to breathe, and to bring whatever it is you are carrying. I will walk alongside you with warmth and steadiness, as you find your own path back to yourself.
